I have a heavy and very shiny sterling silver toggle necklace and want it to look for vintage but not tarnished. How can I create a nice patina on the metal quickly? Best answer 10 pts thanks!

Does anybody know any good home remedies to clean sterling silver jewlery?

Silver tarnishes, but does not develop a patina. People go to pains to keep silver items polished …they buy silver for it’s high luster.

Bronze and copper form a patina that protects or passivates it against further corrosion.

The tarnish that forms on silver degrades the silver. It leads pitting and degradation.

If you’d like something vintage buy something else, and keep the silver necklace for sometime in the future when you’d appreciate it more.
